Iligan City, often known for its stunning waterfalls, holds a secret by the sea—the Esplanade. This charming coastal area offers an escape from the city’s hustle, where visitors can relax and connect with nature. It holds a special place in my heart because of the peace it provides, along with its scenic beauty and the welcoming ambiance that makes it a perfect spot for reflection or a casual outing.

The Esplanade offers a unique opportunity to unwind by the sea, with panoramic views of the water, gentle breezes, and a peaceful atmosphere. Unlike crowded tourist spots, it gives off a serene, almost magical feeling. Strolling along the waterfront is a peaceful experience. The long, winding paths allow you to take in the beauty of the ocean and surrounding greenery. Various food stalls and restaurants line the area, offering delicious local fare and fresh seafood, all with an ocean view. The location offers an unobstructed view of the sea and the horizon, especially stunning at sunset when the sky transforms into vibrant colors. It’s a safe space for families, with wide-open spaces for children to run around, and benches for adults to relax.
